Metropolis 2017 model – some more info
And here is some more welcome and needed first hand information regarding the new Metropolis 2017 model from our Italian friends, who have visited EICMA in Milan. Unfortunately, there has not been an official press release by Peugeot itself, so we have to collect the information by all other means we have.
Trunk size has stayed the same as it was in 2015 model
Dashboard did have some overhauls besides new chrome border:
Revs counter has been reversed. So the arrows would travel counter clockwise now.
Symmetrical in correspondence with speedometer – yes.
Otherwise meaningful or useful? Not really.
TCM lamp has been added (why not ABS, as in cars?)
There’s also a new light indicator for heated grips. So heated grips will either be a standard option or at least readily available on 2017 model instead of aftermarket ones.
New (bronze?) colour has been spotted as well:
Thanks to Matteo Nughes and Carlo Jon Fontina for the pictures and first hand impressions.
